On Wednesday 7 October at the Social RecruitIn London conference, PageGroup was awarded ‘World’s Most Socially Engaged Recruitment Agency’ on LinkedIn. The conference recognised the Top 25 socially engaged companies in the recruitment industry, with PageGroup coming out on top for its dynamic social presence on its three LinkedIn pages; Page Executive, Michael Page and Page Personnel. “Companies like PageGroup run highly targeted marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, based on regionally-focused content plans. They identify what their audiences care about, and target content accordingly. The more specific the content, the more likely your key audience will find value in it and engage with it,” wrote Angela Bertolo, Senior Marketing Manager at LinkedIn, on the company’s blog. To determine the rankings, LinkedIn analysed a range of metrics including social reach, employee engagement and interactions, talent brand and content marketing power on LinkedIn. Company page followers, employee activity on LinkedIn, and use of company status updates were also key factors in driving social engagement. PageGroup Chief Executive, Steve Ingham, said: “At PageGroup, we are constantly looking to take advantage of evolving technologies and LinkedIn is a vital tool of our wider communications strategy. I am extremely proud of what we’ve achieved throughout the last few years and this award is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our marketing team. “Building our LinkedIn profile has allowed us to better engage with clients and candidates, as well as provide the latest industry insights, hiring trends, career advice, job advertisements and recruitment services. This recognition from LinkedIn is very welcome and we’ll continue to expand our follower base and share relevant and engaging content to our target audiences,” explains Mr Ingham.
